The recorder works great, small, very clear and undetectable. I knew it was not Mac compatible but I just played the messages into my ipod and then on to my Mac book. (Posted on 3/18/12)

The customer service is incredible, Jon responded to a few e-mails in just hours with all the information I needed pointing out that one of the recorders did not have automatic record as this one did. Shipping was fast, got it in three business days after ordering. The package comes with everything you need to use it out of the box, including batteries - a nice touch - but you do need to buy the AC adapter or use lots of batteries. The USB cable plugs into the AC adapter if you're not near a computer. The quality of the digital recorder is good but not quite up there with Olympus. This is an expensive unit and you can get a basic manual recorder for under $100 but if you want all the different telephone connectors, automatic recording and all the covert features, this is definitely a winner. Overall, I am very pleased with this product and the customer service. (Posted on 4/19/11)

After trying two other brands, I found the FSV512 recorder is the simplest to use yet the greatest for its clarity and capacity. Having 99 files in each folder is an excellent way to organize your recordings. (Posted on 3/30/11)
