Phone Recorder Handset Adapter

If your phone recorder needs to plug into the phone handset, this is the adapter you need.

When using a phone recorder on an office PBX phone line system, you need to plug the recorder into the phone handset with this adapter.

How it works: Unplug handset from phone base, then plug this adapter in its place. The small hole is where you now plug the coiled handset cord into, and the larger hole is used to plug the recorder into.

Note: On wall jack recorders, this changes the features of the recorder from connecting to the wall jack to connecting to the phone handset, therefore, it only records from the phone it is connected to. Also, automatic recording will not function, you just manually start and stop the recordings.

If you have a multi-line phone system where several lines can be answered by one phone, it will always record whatever line the person is currently speaking on.
