Questions on GT-TR520SC Cassette Phone Recorder
- From: Pat
- If you are on the phone making a call can you hear it turning on and off, do you hear clicks on the phone call?
- Hi Pat, yes, you can manually start and stop the phone recording during a call and you do not hear any internal clicks on the phone call. If, however, when you stop the recorder and you let the buttons "pop" up, the caller may hear that as background noise. Just be sure to do it quietly.

- From: Eileen
- What if I am in a different room than the recorder is in? Will it still record my conversation?
- Hi Eileen, yes, if you have a standard analog phone line and you have it connected directly into the line via an active wall jack, then it will record all phones in the house that are connected to that line. (No matter what jack the phone is plugged into.)

- From: BRIAN
- DOES THIS UNIT HAVE THE ABILITY TO PUT A DISCLAIMER, SUCH AS, "THIS PHONE CONVERSATION MAY BE RECORDED FOR TRAINING AND MONITORING PURPOSES"
- Hi Brian, this unit does not have that feature, however, the USB Phone2PC Advanced recording PC software does, here's a link to it: http://www.telephonecallrecorder.com/phone-advanced-p-51.html

- From: David
- Can you buy tapes that will last longer than 30 min.
- Hi David, yes you can. For example you can buy a 120-minute tape that would record phone calls for 60 minutes on each side. Then, if you use the "slow" mode setting on the back of the recorder, you would be able to even double that time.

- From: Dawn
- I have more than one phone in my office with 3 business lines. How will this work for them?
- Hi Dawn, in the case of a business multi-line phone system, this would need to connect to the phone base where the handset cord usually plugs into the base. (The adapter for doing this is included, and the handset then plugs into the adapter.) The phone recorder will then record phone calls from whatever line the person using that particular phone is on.

- From: Harry
- Does this device record calls for both incoming and out going calls?
- Hi Harry, yes it will record phone calls both incoming and outgoing. You just press down the play/record buttons together and leave it that way. Then it will automatically start/stop itself whenever a phone is lifted off the hook or hung up.

- From: John
- I have 4 cordless telephones, will this recorder record the telephone in kitchen if someone answers it in the kitchen or in the basement or in my office? Or for example, if it is in my master bedroom, would the recorder record any cordless telephone calls from anywhere in the house?
- Hi John, if you have just regular single-line home phone service, then yes, it will work. It works because you plug it into a wall jack, just like a telephone it gets connected directly into the phone line and not just one particular telephone. Then, it will record phone calls from any of the telephones on that line, no matter what jack the phone being used is connected to.
